Registering ensures customer confidence, knowing that support is only a phone call away.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The benefits to you given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.
Provision of the Warranty
- The product being paid for in full and the purchaser not being in breach of Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd’s General Terms and Conditions.
- No longer than 12 months (or 24 months if registered within 30 days) having elapsed from the date of dispatch from Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd’s warehouse.
- Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd or its representative, at its option, having access to the product for inspection and verification of any claim. Defects must be reported within the warranty period.
- A completed warranty registration form submitted to Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd within 30 days of installation.
- The product not being repaired or altered without prior authorisation from Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd.
- The purchaser using and maintaining the product in accordance with Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd and/or Electrolux Professional instructions and accepted operating practices.
- Correct storage and installation of the product in accordance with Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd instructions.
- Warranty coverage applying only to labour provided or approved by Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd (labour by the customer or other parties is excluded).
Certain items are only covered by a maximum of 12 months warranty, including: pilots, piezo leads, piezo ignitors, sensors, and thermocouples.
Warranty Exclusions
- Defects or malfunctions resulting from incorrect or poor maintenance, including cleaning or repairing blocked/clogged burners, injectors, pilots, piezos, ignition sensors, or drains, or labour costs associated with routine cleaning.
- Fair wear and tear, damage, or alteration caused by circumstances outside Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd’s control, such as power surges, poor water quality, inappropriate cleaning chemicals, or food/oil contamination.
- Any part not originally supplied by Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd, or subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, accident, or incorrect installation.
- Failures caused by customer-supplied specifications or designs.
- Problems arising from poor installation.
- Third-party equipment not manufactured by Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd or Electrolux Professional.
- Installation or removal costs, and transport costs to return goods to Eurotec Australia Pty Ltd (unless pre-paid).
- Consumables including water filters, gaskets, seals, handles, knobs, and cleaning agents unless defective from manufacture.
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or chips reported more than one (1) week after delivery.
Registration Requirement
To register your new product, complete the warranty registration form within 30 days after installation.
Registration confirms that the appliance:
- Has been installed by a licensed technician (including a licensed gas fitter where applicable).
- Has been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
